What is the "IKIGAI Framework"?

This site, the "IKIGAI Framework," is a self-analysis tool designed to help you reflect on your current work and lifestyle, and objectively diagnose what you are missing to achieve "Ikigai."

Background of Development: The Problem with the Ikigai Chart

This tool was developed based on the "Ikigai Chart," which is widely known in Europe and other regions. This chart is a highly useful model that illustrates "Ikigai" through the intersection of four elements: "What you are Great At," "What you Love," "What the world Needs," and "What you can be Paid For."

However, the traditional Ikigai Chart had a major structural flaw. While there are a total of 16 combinations based on whether these 4 elements are met or not, the traditional diagram failed to represent all 16 combinations. In most cases, only 9 out of the 16 combinations were clearly defined.

Purpose of Development: Visualizing 16 Patterns and Understanding Your Current State

This tool resolves the inconsistencies of the traditional Ikigai Chart.

We have prepared clear definitions, explanations, examples, and advice for all 16 combinations.

We developed a mathematically accurate visual representation to express the 16 combinations not only in words but also visually.

By performing self-analysis using this tool, you can objectively understand your current state and challenges in life, and clarify what is needed to reach ultimate "Ikigai."

How to Use the Tool

It is very simple to use.

1. When you open the top page, you will see 4 questions about your work. The questions completely correspond to the 4 elements of the Ikigai Chart, and you simply select either "Yes" or "No".

2. Once you have answered all the questions, the analysis will be performed, and the diagnostic result applicable to your current state, along with a detailed explanation, will be displayed.
